This is a ready-to-use "PseudoHotKey" which by pressing Win+F11 will maximize any window, removing the window title bar, buttons and borders; pressing Win+F11 again will restore the window to its previous size and position.

This makes flying in 'full screen' possible whilst still having access to addons on a secondary monitor.

The zipfile includes the AutoHotKey (http://www.autohotkey.com/) executable which has been created using the included MaartenBoelens (maarten@maartenboelens.nl) "fullscreen.ahk" script for this purpose.

Maarten's 'Pseudo_Full_Screen' was downloaded from the Avsim Library as 'pseudo_full_screen.zip'

He recommends you have the windows task bar set to 'auto hide' first, but I've not found this to be necessary.

Installation:

Unzip or extract the files to a folder of your choice.
To run: dble-click on the pseudo_full_screen.exe. A green icon will appear in the systray indicating it is active.
Pressing the "Win and the F11" keys together will maximize the FSX "Windowed mode" window to fullscreen, but hiding the toolbars, etc., as above.

Other than compiling the exe from Maarten's script, I have no claim for any of the coding or expertise used or needed to create any part of Maarten;s script, nor of any similar claim to that of the AutoHotKey applet.
